I found a really fun new application that makes is quick and easy to create a very professional animated flash slide show to your website. I got so excited when I found this site that I had to make a video of my own for my homepage… and your company might be a featured highlight in it!
Check out the new video on Theatrium Design’s homepage: http://www.theatriumdesign.com.
With Animoto, it’s easy to become a video wizard! Once you have a free account you can try it out for free. You simply upload your images, select from a huge list of pre-licensed music, and allow Animoto to mix the video/music combination. It takes just a few minutes to create your short (30 second) video and you can use it on personal web pages, Facebook, mySpace, YouTube etc for free.
If you don’t like how Animoto has mixed your video, you can remix it, by moving around your images, changing out your images and selecting different music. Animoto will create a new video based on your new settings. No two videos are the same. You can also add text to your video, to really bring your message home. How cool is that!
If you want a full length (about 3 minutes) video, you can buy a credit for a single video for $3.00, or buy an all access pass for a month or more. (Use the following referral code for a discount: eximujtn )
What’s the catch? Well, you can’t use your an Animoto video for commercial use, unless you have a business subscription. But that’s okay, because Theatrium Design purchased a business license to use Animoto for our clients. The Business Account gives you call to action buttons, hundreds of commercially licensed music choices, and you can download a dvd-quality copy of your video to send to clients or use at Trade Shows or Retail centers. Go ahead and check out Animoto and if you like what you see, Theatrium Design can create and upload your video for you.
So use your imagination and I think you will find there are many fun ways to add some punch to your website. You can also upload your video to YouTube, Facebook, mySpace and all your other social networking accounts and let the power of viral marketing take it from there. Animoto has a page of case studies that will give you some good ideas too. Enjoy!
